Super Basic Granola with Pumpkin Seeds

I used to have trouble getting the right bake on granola until I tried Alton Brown’s method. Baking it low and slow is how you can avoid that bitter taste of overcooked oats.

Holy Granoly

You can add any dried fruits or nuts that you want to the granola. Make it personal man! If you go nuts for coconuts go ahead and add some dried flakes. If you don’t have both honey and maple syrup, it’s fine to use just one or the other.

This granola is super tasty in yogurt, milk, frozen yogurt, or trail mix.
