Healthy Vegetable Sandwich

Tomatoes, avocados, red onion, lettuce and smear of cream cheese on 2 toasted slices of Ezekiel bread.  Works well as a breakfast or lunch.

Well, well, well, what is this? You know how to make healthy foods?  Yeah. What of it!

Sometimes you just gotta eat some healthy food to make room for all the bad stuff later.

This sandwich is pretty good, if you are dabbling in the healthy.  The cream cheese keeps it real, while the veggies cleanse your filthy innards.  Win win!

Other suggested additions are cucumbers, sprouts, maybe some chive action.  Splash a lil balsamic on there.

Healthy Veggie Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of toasted bread or a pita
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese
  • 2 to mato slices or a few sliced cherry tomatoes
  • 2 leaves butter or romaine lettuce
  • A few rough chopped red onion slices
  • ½ avocado sliced
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  • Toast bread.
  • Assemble sandwich.

Notes

Can add some balsamic.
