Sushi Rice

Ingredients
1 ½
cups
uncooked sushi rice
2
cups
water

tbsp
rice wine vinegar
2
tbsp
sugar
½
tbsp
salt
Instructions
Rinse rice well
If using rice cooker follow rice cooker directions for sushi rice.
STOVE TOP
Combine water and rice in pot.
Bring water to boil, stir, turn heat down to low, and cover pot.
Let cook 20 minutes. Turn off heat, stir rice, cover and let sit 5 minutes.
SUSHI RICE
In a saucepan heat vinegar, sugar and salt. Cook till sugar is dissolved. Take off heat.
In a GLASS bowl, combine cooked rice and vinegar mixture. Stir well with a wet spoon to combine.
Make sushi right away.
