Quick Spicy Garlic Pickles

Ingredients

cucumber cut in half and then into spears

water
⅓
cup
distilled white vinegar

tsp
sugar
½
tsp
red pepper flakes
1
tsp
peppercorns
1 ½
tsp
salt

tbsp
fresh dill
2
cloves
garlic sliced
Instructions
In a small saucepan, boil the water, vinegar, salt, and sugar till dissolved.
Clean a 16 oz jar or container with a lid.
Place spears, garlic, and dill in jar.
Add pepper flakes and pepper to the brine.
Gently pour brine into jar or container. Cover pickles fully.
Let rest in the fridge for at least 6 hours before eating.
Pickles keep for about a month in the fridge.
