Rum and sugar soaked bananas set ablaze! For those of us who love to play with fire, this dessert is a blast to make. Also, probably a little dangerous, but who cares! It’s bananas! Foster that is…

I mean who was Foster anyways?

Now setting it on fire is optional, and it will still be super delish without. As long as you don’t pour too much booze on it that it doesn’t cook off.

Hello bananas

When the caramel sauce hits the ice cream it turns into a delightfully harder caramel. Still soft enough to eat, but with just a little bite.

If you are going to be brave and set it afire, make sure no one will be buzzing around the kitchen in the way. Turn the gas off the burner. Also use a long match to light it or a long lighter. Don’t pour too much alcohol on it so that it turns into an unruly blaze. You don’t want to immolate that kitchen…or do you? New cabinets! I mean, no, don’t do that.
