Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Chocolate + banana bread? What’s not to like? Yes, yes, there are banana bread purists out there, I know—I was one of them. Plain banana bread with spices or a crumble topping was as far as I’d go. Thing is, I had some bananas that needed to be used and a mad chocolate craving. So I just decided to try and jump on the chocolate banana bread bandwagon.

Look at that loaf!

It ended up super tasty and very filling! The chocolate melts when you heat it up and with some butter slathered on it—you stop caring about the “pure” version. You become a banana bread sinner. Sorry, not sorry.

It was good cold, but it really shines when warm. You can slice a piece off the loaf and nuke it for a few seconds. I think all banana bread tastes better that way, warm enough to melt the butter. Obvi.
