French fries will probably be the cause of my death. They are the reason I will order a hamburger or hot dog. No, I care not for that nice burger… it’s a pretense to get those golden fried potatoes.

Now we can’t eat fried foods all the time, or at least we aren’t supposed to. So to fill in those sad spaces, there are baked versions.

Here is my simple oven fries recipe. NBD.
Oven French Fries
Ingredients
- 4 large russet potatoes
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
- Wash and peel potatoes.
- Cut into ½ inch thick fries.
- Line baking sheet with nonstick foil.
- Pour oil on foil, add potatoes, and salt.
- Mix together with hands to coat fries.
- Bake 30 – 35 minutes till golden.
